One Simple Daily Practice That Will Make You A Better Photographer!

I never wanted to have a blog that just focuses on photography when there are so many things that I can write about that may help you in your life.

That’s why when I post, it’s not always about photography, but I do believe that if you are a photographer, your work is shaped by the way you live, your life experience and how you interpret them.

As a photographer who shots and teaches and does it all when it comes to my business, personal care is at the top of my list.

I’ve found that when I don’t take care of myself everything can easily crumble. I eat healthy. I work out and I stay fit.

Taking care of my body is only part of it thought.

I also schedule Mental health exercises daily.

Meditation is probably the best practice that I do daily. It helps me stay focused. It helps me relax. It helps me sleep. It helps me with self mastery and self awareness.

If you are one of those people who think this all B.S it’s ok. I like to be skeptical too. What I don’t like to do is never try something. I like to see for myself so I challenge you. Meditate for 20 days. If you feel a change or see a change then meditate for 20 more and if you’re not going to try it then bummer. You miss out.

Meditation is also free! It requires no special equipment, and its easy to learn. You can meditate anywhere at any moment and all you need to do to have the full effects is to focus for 15 to 20 minutes per day.  Best of all, there are no negative side effects. The bottom line is there is no reason why you can’t start today. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.
